Reflection about technology

I think that the school does teaches us about technology. Just like of using computers. Also, appropriate ways to use them. Like using Moodle, Google docs, blogger and much more things. These are some web sides of using technology. One way, is on checking Moodle everyday. In Moodle, we can check our homework. These are some ways that we use technology in school.
I think that our school also don't teaches some things. It doesn't teaches that well to make an animation in photoshop. Just like making someone moving. Just like a type of video on photoshop. I think that will be a cool thing to do. It could be also very creative. I will like to do that. That are some things they haven't teach us.
Another thing that they haven't teaching us to make a stop motion. We are going to do one, but we haven't. In the stop motion we have to do a video. Like an object transforming to another thing. In that, we have to make a lot of photos. Is very difficult to make explain how does it change. Also, you can do it of plastiline or chalk. These are another things we haven't learn that much.

Stop Motion

The stop motion I have selected is to first put a skeleton head with it's bones, then converted into a drum with sticks. I selected it because I though that it was very creative. I didn't though of other stop motion. I just though about the one a will make. It was the first one that came into my mind. The most challenging thing of this stop motion is putting it into plastiline. It will be very difficult. These are some ideas from my stop motion.

Watercolor tree


Interpretation of the watercolor


Yesterday in class we were supposed to paint a tree that has been hit by a lightning. I think that the idea we have to paint was very creative because I never had paint anything in English class. What I paint was a tree with fire. The tree had also some leaves but they were also in fire because of the lightning. The tree had a whole in the middle with also fire on it. The whole in the middle with fire, also was burn. The tree was falling down with the mud. First, the three was in the ground, but because of the lightning, the land were the tree was converted into mud, so that is why the tree was falling into the mud. I didn’t put anything in the background, I just put another three from far away from the main tree I was painting, the tree that was far away had fire all around it, also was falling down into the mud.
I did this painting because for me when a lightning falls into a tree, is a very sad moment for the trees. I think is sad because a lightning falls in a tree, the tree will died and will be covered with fire. So when the lightnings fall, is a like possible danger for the trees because they can be killed because of that. You can compare that situation with the trees to the humans, just like when a tornado or hurricane occurs, the humans could died or loose everything, like their houses or furniture. The humans can’t do anything when a hurricane occurs, specially if it occurs where they live or near it. That happens to the trees because they can’t move because they are attached to the ground. Finally, I created this painting to represent what happens to the trees when a lightning falls to compared it when like when hurricanes or tornado happend when humans are.
I really like my painting because I though it was very realistic. I think that I’m very good at painting and at drawing, that is why I think I make a good job. Everyone did the tree with lightning because is related to the book called “Speak” we are reading in English class. Melinda that is the main character from the story were are reading, is making a tree with a lightning on it in her art class. I think that Melinda is a very common girl that is new in high-school that doesn’t have friends yet and that is very scared of everything, like of being good at school, having a good grade, having friends and joining a clique.

William Kentridge, Stop Motion, and Transformation

The work from Kentrich make me feel good. Kentrich makes a good job. He draws cool things.He does a lot of incredible things. He makes chalk drawings. I like what he does. His job is also very creative.

I think that is difficult describing the blind people what he does. I will say that is very creative and cool. It has a lot of drawing. The drawing is very cool. He makes very cool things. He has a lot of ides to make things because he is creative. This is how I think Kentrich drawings is.



I think that stop motion is when objects transform to other things. I think that they are very creative because they move a lot from different places. I think that the viewer is very amazed with it because they are a lot of shapes and different colors. The colors also change. The shapes also change. The steps of doing this is choosing an artifact and that change it. Its very cool.

Mash-up

A mash-up is when two or more songs combine together to make one. What makes a good mash-up is to have the most important letters of the songs combined in one. If you put the most boring letters of the songs in a new song it will be boring. If you put the best letters of both songs, that will make it more interesting. You can look for tutorials to help you make a mash-up. I think that mash-up artists are true musicians because even though they don't make music, they combine the songs to make a new one.
